In April 2025, National Beat Poet Laureate, Mark Lipman kicked off his cross-country tour right here at the Whittier Birthplace. He has spent the last year traveling across the country and is coming back to the Whittier Birthplace on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 2pm for the final stop on the Vagabond Poetry Tour. Join us in the Apple Orchard to welcome him home.
